Runners in this year's ING New York City Marathon ran for many reasons: health, competition, community spirit. Many ran to help raise money for cancer research.
Breathe RightŪ nasal strips once again partnered with the ING New York City Marathon and its runners to raise $10,000 for the Aubrey Fund for Pediatric Cancer Research.
The Breathe Right brand donated $1 to the Aubrey Fund for each participant that crossed the finish line wearing a Breathe Right nasal strip, which included the women's first-place winner. Breathe Right nasal strips were distributed to runners, free of charge, at the Marathon Expo the week leading up to the race.
This is the second year that Breathe Right products have participated with the ING New York City Marathon to raise money for the Aubrey Fund. Named after Aubrey Barr, the fund provides vital funding for cancer research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
